Recently Amazon Prime Video has been focusing on the music industry more. Just 6 days ago, on April 4, the streaming giant released a special film, Musica, which delves loosely into the life of Rudy Mancuso’s life, the renowned American influencer and musician. Although it's a rom-com genre, the film shows Mancuso dealing with his artistic aspirations, his own journey to success while living with synesthesia, Musica aims to break new ground in the romance genre. The film will be a fresh take on love, self-discovery, and the power of finding your own unique rhythm.

When to watch Hip Hop World

After the success of Musica, Prime Video brings another content on music, titled, Hip Hop World, a music special, hosted by Lenny Santiago. This special will follow Grammy-winning DJ Khaled and Billboard chart-topper Lola Brooke’s exploring their inspirations in the cities. Hip Hop World will be released on April 16, 2024, on Prime Video.

In the music special, DJ Khaled will take fans to a trip to Jamaica, where he shot his song ‘These Streets Know My Name’. He will also show us some surprising behind-the-scenes from Jamaica that inspired him, and how he made the song. On the other hand, rapper Brooke will make release her ‘Touch Down In Paris’ song, through the music special series.

What does the trailer show?

The trailer of Hip Hop World exhibits some of the influential concerts or DJ Khaled, where millions of fans' have gathered. It also shows DJ Khaled and Lola Brooke’s creativity inside the recording booth, and channelising their excitement for music. While exploring the cities, the duo is seen explaining how hip-hop has inspired many, and how this music is ruling the generation.

Apart from the prestigious Grammy, DJ Khaled also won MTV Europe Music Award, MTV VIdeo Music Award, BET Hip-Hop Award, American Music Award, and more. Lola Brooke till now won BET Hip-Hop Award. Brooke released her breakout single ‘Don't Play with It’ in 2021, which became popular the year after its release through its use on Twitter and TikTok
