Himesh Reshammiya recently popped up on Farah Khan's vlog, where he chatted about how he came up with his track Badass Ravikumar. He also shared some fun stories about Salman Khan and Aamir Khan that kept things lively.

The impact of retro style in Badass Ravikumar

Himesh shared that his inspiration for Badass Ravikumar comes from his childhood memories of Indian cinema. He mentioned that every time he adds '90s songs to his music albums, they turn out amazing. It seems like the retro vibe is still a big hit with fans. The standout line from the film, "Logic, optional," really resonated with most viewers. He also enjoys films that are both relaxing and entertaining.

Himesh had a lot to say about Aamir after Sajid Khan asked him to share his story as a producer, especially regarding Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. He really admires Aamir and thinks that film was just amazing. When Himesh saw the film's trial back in 1988, a lot of people were skeptical about it. He tried to convince his dad that it was going to break box office records, but his dad wasn’t convinced at all. Eventually, Himesh earned his dad's trust, and the movie turned out to be a huge hit. After that, his dad even lent him some money to kick off a series.

A film that never got made, influenced by Aamir Khan and Salman Khan

Aamir was almost signed for a film, he shared. The superstar had discussions with Himesh's dad about it, but it didn’t pan out, and they ended up going with Salman Khan instead. Salman got his big break, but that movie never actually happened. Even though Salman wasn’t part of his dad's project, he remembered Himesh's music and used it in Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya. Sohail Khan also gave the green light for that song since the title track was tough to create. Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya was already a huge hit, especially after that phrase became popular. If Himesh hadn’t gotten that chance, he might still be stuck doing series. He started off as a producer, and it was Salman who opened the door for him to do music, but he was too caught up in series back then.

The box office earnings for Badass Ravikumar, featuring Himesh Reshammiya, were under Rs. 10 crores in India.
