Hellbound season 2 is scheduled to release in less than two days and with it, the fear will be relived. The mystery surrounding the horror thriller K-Drama is at the peak, and season 2 is scheduled to unveil what Hellbound season 1 teased us with. Right from Yoon Ah-in's Jung Jin-soo to Kim Hyun-joo's Min Hye-jin, here's what happened to every character in season 1 and where they are in season 2 (PS: Spoliers ahead)...

Jung Jin-soo is dead and resurrected

Jung Jin-soo was the first to receive the decree (death warning). Since he believed he was a good human, Jin-soo did not understand why he received the decree. Thus, he started the New Truth to understand the reason for the decree. Jin-soo died on the day of his execution, but he is resurrected in the upcoming season.

Kim Jeong-chil takes over New Truth

Since Jin-soo died, Kim Jeong-chil (Lee Dong-hee) took over New Truth. This was following the deal made between the two. Jeong-chil grew New Truth and especially, Arrowhead. All executions under his rule had a public demonstration.

Min Hye-jin survived the attack from Arrowhead

Yes, Min Hye-jin is alive. She survived the attack that Arrowhead had planned. They managed to kill Hye-jin's mother and even though they beat her to pulp, she survived. She started Sodo to get deeper into the mystery behind the decree and cults formed. It is to be noted that Sodo helped people keep their executions private.

Bae Young-jae and Song So-hyun died, their baby received a decree

Park Jeong-min's Bae Young-jae and Won Jin-ah's Song So-hyun died to let their baby survive. Young-jae was a journalist and they sacrificed themselves to save their baby. The married couple could do so with Hye-jin's help. Hye-jin and the baby stayed away from New Truth. The baby is the only survivor after receiving the decree, and New Truth also tried to keep the baby a secret since they did not understand how could a baby sin.

The Arrowhead streamer also received the decree

The Arrowhead played a huge role in helping New Truth reach the world. However, the organization was stabbed in the back and thus, the streamer started hating on New Truth. The Arrowhead streamer, originally slated to die five minutes after the baby's death, tried to kill the baby. Thus, the streamer was also killed.

Park Jeong-ja is resurrected

Kim Shin-rok's Park Jeong-ja was the first to have a public demonstration of her death through New Truth. She was paid a hefty sum for the same, but Jeong-ja constantly worried about her two children. Her place of death became a sacred site, and somehow, her charred remains turned to flesh and she was resurrected to life by Hellbound season 1 finale episode. More on that is expected to be explored in the coming season.
