In less than two months, Harold and the Purple Crayon has made it to OTT in India after its theatrical release in August 2024. The film has been dropped on Prime Video and ZEE5 (OTTplay Premium) but is on rent at Rs. 249. The live-action feature-length directing debut of Carlos Saldanha, Harold and the Purple Crayon, had the screenplay by David Guion and Michael Handelman, and it is based on the 1955 children's book by Crockett Johnson.
