HanuMan ended as a massive hit at the box office and the makers saw massive profits. The fantasy drama has completed 50 days in 150 centres in Telugu states and this itself is a rare record in today's day and age where films vanish from the theatres after the first week of their release.

Latest update on Jai HanuMan

High of this success, the makers held a success meet today in Hyderabad and felicitated the unit. Speaking about the film, director Prashanth Varma thanked the fans for supporting their film so much. In a very emotional tone, he said, "A film running for 50 days in today's time is something unheard of and we are holding this event to inspire others to dream big and make films that can run long in the theatres".

Adding further, Prasanth also gave a key update about the sequel, Jai HanuMan. "The pre-production of the film has already begun and the first look has also been finalized. Very soon, we will release the poster and grandly announce the film", said Prasanth Varma.

Teja Sajja played the main lead in this film and he said that working on HanuMan has been a life-changing journey and he cannot thank Prasanth for giving him this huge opportunity to work in such a big film. Teja Sajja is now a popular hero and has hiked his fee considerably post the success of HanuMan. He has also signed three films with popular banners and is the star to watch out for in the days to come.

HanuMan OTT release date

On the other hand, Prasanth Varma has met a few Bollywood stars to play key roles in Jai HanuMan. Ending his speech, he said, "Jai HanuMan is going to be bigger, bolder, and more prestigious as some big names will be associated with this film". Zee 5 has bagged the OTT rights to the film which will be out on March 8, 2024.
