Telugu Star Nani has frequently discussed his initial experiences as a radio jockey, prior to entering the film industry. He presented a program named Non-Stop Nani, which earned him a Best RJ award, but Jersey -actor Nani feels he wasn’t particularly good at the role. Reflecting on his time as an RJ during the promotions of his upcoming film, HIT 3, set to release in theatres on May 1, 2025, Nani mentioned that the experience significantly boosted his confidence, given that he was an introvert before that and was, therefore, a man of few words.

Speaking to Manorama Online, Nani mentioned, “I was an average RJ at best, but before that, I was quite introverted. I would only speak when necessary and lacked confidence. I would never start a conversation with anyone. That one job made me converse and provided me with a lot of self-assurance. It allowed me to open up, particularly because of the friends and colleagues I had in the workplace,” he stated. The actor adds that speaking into a microphone has also benefited him in his acting career, as he became more chatty and realized that he could approach and socialize with anyone.

During the discussion, Nani, who portrays a police officer for the first time in HIT 3, a film that has received an A rating for its violence, also expressed that while music is one of his greatest stress relievers, he also relaxes by revisiting his childhood favorite movies. His favorites are Mani Ratnam's Anjali or Dalapathi, which, he claims, he must have watched hundreds of times throughout the years, and yet, he continuously revisits them because they distract him from everything and transport him to a different realm.

HIT 3 is the third installment in the universe helmed by Sailesh Kolanu and has been produced by Nani’s Wall Poster Cinema. The film also features KGF star Srinidhi Shetty in the lead role, serving as the calm in Nani’s Arjun Sarkaar’s extremely turbulent life.
