HIT 3 is the upcoming film featuring Nani, scheduled for release on May 1, 2025. The film's trailer will be unveiled tomorrow, and Nani is extremely excited about the results. He believes that the film will surprise audiences, particularly due to his portrayal of a gritty and intense police officer. However, the actor is also feeling anxious, as the censor board has not yet granted the film a clearance certificate.
HIT 3 faces censor heat
Recently, the censor screening for HIT 3 took place in Hyderabad. Following their review of the final cut, officials indicated that they would issue an A certificate for the film. Nani and his team engaged in discussions with the board, and a source close to the production disclosed that the officials requested the removal of several violent scenes and profanities in order to approve the film for a U/A certificate.
Despite this, Nani and director Sailesh Kolanu are unwilling to make any cuts, as they believe it would lessen the film's impact on viewers. As a murder mystery, HIT 3 contains significant violence, which has been highlighted in the promotional material. Nani has a strong reputation among family audiences, and his latest production, Court – State vs. A Nobody, is currently available on OTT platforms, showcasing a rustic family drama with a compelling narrative.

HIT 3 OTT platform details
At this juncture, Nani is set to present a more intense persona, with the film featuring strong language and graphic content. This is contributing to the various challenges the film is facing with the censor board. Directed by Sailesh Kolanu and produced by Nani under his own banner, the film has a budget of approximately Rs 60 crore, with Nani portraying the character Arjun Sarkaar.
The film's emphasis on violence is a key concern for Nani, who is determined to retain all critical scenes. Reports indicate that the actor is currently re-editing the film to remove some of the more graphic content. Srinidhi Shetty stars as the female lead, and her character is expected to introduce significant plot twists as the story unfolds.

We will await the comments from the censorship officials regarding the film in the upcoming days. Netflix has acquired the digital rights to the film for a substantial sum. Please stay tuned for further updates.
