Quiver Distribution has released the first trailer for Inside, a gritty and emotionally charged prison drama directed by Oscar-winning short filmmaker Charles Williams. Set to debut on June 20, 2025, the film explores the harsh realities of incarceration, but what differentiates it is the twisted tenderness that begins to emerge in the bleakest surroundings.

The narrative centers on Mel Blight (Vincent Miller), a teenage inmate suddenly forced out of a juvenile facility into the harsh environment of adult prison. In this setting, he comes under the guidance of two vastly different mentors: Mark Shepard (Cosmo Jarvis), a notorious criminal despised throughout Australia, and Warren Murfett (Guy Pearce), a hardened inmate on the verge of parole. Together, they form a reluctant and unstable triangle — part father figures, part fractured mirrors of who Mel could eventually become.

As their relationships deepen, so do the fractures in their emotional defenses. Inside not only delves into prison hierarchies and violence — it uncovers the layers of masculinity, guilt, and suppressed humanity within men who have long been marginalized. As indicated by the trailer, “even the worst of men have a little bit of good inside — and that just might be what destroys them. ”
