Veteran director Priyadarshan has officially announced his involvement in directing Hera Pheri 3. This upcoming film will see the return of Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Suniel Shetty, reprising their iconic roles from the beloved franchise. Shortly after Priyadarshan's confirmation regarding Hera Pheri 3, Gulshan Grover revealed that he will also be returning to the series, once again portraying the character of Kabira in this third installment.

Gulshan Grover is back as Kabira in Hera Pheri 3

In an interview with Mid-Day, Gulshan Grover confirmed that he will return to the Hera Pheri franchise with the third installment. 

Kabira is indeed making a return. I am extremely enthusiastic about participating in Hera Pheri 3. I have had several meetings with producer Firoze Nadiadwala and have been briefed about the role. At this moment, I cannot disclose much information. However, I can share that Kabira will exhibit both negative and positive characteristics, he stated to the tabloid.

In addition to Hera Pheri 3, Grover has several intriguing projects in the pipeline, including Matka King, which stars Vijay Verma. Reflecting on his career path, the seasoned actor remarked, "I believe that an actor who has established a brand must be discerning about the roles he chooses in his later years. My close friend Anil Kapoor serves as a commendable example of this."

On the occasion of his 68th birthday, esteemed filmmaker Priyadarshan declared his comeback to the Hera Pheri franchise. He was the director of the original 2000 film Hera Pheri, while the sequel was directed by Neeraj Vora.

In response to Akshay's birthday greeting, Priyadarshan expressed his gratitude on Twitter, stating, "Thank you very much for your kind wishes, Akshay. As a token of appreciation, I would like to offer you a gift—I am prepared to work on Hera Pheri 3. Are you ready, akshaykumar, SunielVShetty, and SirPareshRawal? (sic)."
