The trend of re-releasing films is going strong! Several Hindi movies from various genres returned to theaters earlier this year. Flicks like Rockstar, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Sanam Teri Kasam, and Laila Majnu were met with an amazing response when they came back. Now, there's news that another film is planning to make a comeback to cinemas. Gulshan Devaiah's 2015 movie Hunterrr could be back on the big screen this year, just in time to celebrate its 10th anniversary on March 20.

Is Gulshan Devaiah's Hunterrr making a return?

Bollywood Hungama reports that the team behind Hunterrr is gearing up to bring the film back to theaters for its 10th anniversary. A source shared that the movie has a lasting appeal thanks to its storyline, performances, and impressive cast. 

After the plan gets the green light, the creators will search for the perfect release date. It’s still unclear whether it will drop this Friday, March 20, or if it will be pushed to a later date, according to a source from the entertainment site. Additionally, an industry insider mentioned a few top-rated films that have made a comeback in theaters.

Highlighting what makes the Gulshan Devaiah film unique in its category, the insider noted, "What sets Hunterrr apart from other adult films is that it’s a sex comedy. Honestly, this genre hasn’t seen a noteworthy film in quite a while, and there’s definitely an audience for it. So, it wouldn’t be surprising if Hunterrr turns out to be a sleeper hit upon its re-release."

Harshvardhan Kulkarni wrote and directed Hunterrr, an adult comedy that stars Gulshan alongside Radhika Apte and Sai Tamhankar. In the film, Gulshan takes on the character of Mandar Ponkhse, while Radhika plays Tripti Gokhale and Sai portrays Jyotsna Surve.
