Hansika Motwani starred in the Tamil horror thriller drama titled Guardian, which was released earlier this year in theatres. The film is now available for streaming on Aha Tamil and OTTplay Premium app, for the Diwali weekend.

Guardian is written and directed by Guru Saravanan and Sabari. Hansika plays the main lead in the film. She plays the role of Aparna, an architect by profession who considers herself unlucky in life. However, after a small accident, she discovers that whatever she wishes for happens in real life. But for each good deed she prays for, is a cause-and-effect reaction and balanced with a detrimental incidence. Fearing what might be haunting her, it is up to Aparna to face the human and invisible forces to know the truth behind what is going on.

Apart from Hansika Motwani, the film also stars Suresh Menon, Sriman, Rajendran, Pradeep Rayan, Tiger Garden Thangadurai, and others in prominent roles.

The film is produced by Vijay Chandar under the banner Film Works. The music for Guardian is scored by Sam CS, with K.A. Sakthivel cranking the camera. M. Thiyagarajan is the editor and Lalgudi N. Ilayaraja is the art director.
