Guardian, the 2024 Tamil horror film starring actor Hansika Motwani in the lead role, which released in theatres earlier this year, will soon be available on Aha Tamil. The horror film premiere on October 30, for the Diwali weekend. Guardian will also be available on OTTplay Premium app.

Guardian is a horror thriller film which hit theatres on March 8. The film is written and directed by Guru Saravanan and Sabari. Hansika Motwani plays the main lead in the film. After months of release, Guardian will now be released on OTT platform for the Diwali week. The horror thriller’s post theatrical streaming rights have been bagged by Aha Tamil and will premiere on October 30, the streaming platform announced on social media.
Guardian is about Aparna (Hansika Motwani), who is an architect by profession and considers herself unlucky in life. However, after a small accident, she discovers that whatever she wishes for happens in real life. But for each good deed she prays for, is a cause-and-effect reaction and balanced with a detrimental incidence. Fearing what might be haunting her, it is up to Aparna to face the human and invisible forces to know the truth behind what is going on.

The cast of Guardian includes actors Hansika Motwani, Suresh Menon, Sriman, Rajendran, Pradeep Rayan, Tiger Garden Thangadurai and others. The film is directed by Sabari and Gurusaravanan, with the latter working on the story, screenplay and dialogues.
The film is backed by Vijay Chandar under the banner Film Works. The music for Guardian is scored by Sam CS, with K.A. Sakthivel cranking the camera. M. Thiyagarajan is the editor and Lalgudi N. Ilayaraja is the art director.
Guardian will be the latest addition to Aha Tamil’s content catalogue. The streaming platform also announced the addition of Anjaamai, a social drama which will also be streaming this week.
