The film's trailer debuted on Monday. Ground Zero draws inspiration from a mission recognized as the best operation by the BSF in the past 50 years, which took place in 2015. In the trailer, Emraan Hashmi portrays the real-life BSF Commandant Narendra Nath Dhar Dubey.

The trailer provides insight into the intricate situation in Kashmir, emphasizing the effects of conflict on civilian populations. It highlights the soldiers' experiences as they navigate the precarious balance required to uphold peace in the area. Narendra Nath Dubey was at the helm of the operation that eliminated terrorist leader Ghazi Baba. He was awarded the Kirti Chakra in 2005 for his bravery. The film also features Sai Tamhankar, Mukesh Tiwari, and Zoya Hussain in significant roles. It is scheduled to hit theaters on April 25.
