Good Bad Ugly worldwide box office collection day 5: Within a week of its debut, Adhik Ravichandran's film Good Bad Ugly, featuring Ajith Kumar and Trisha Krishnan, has risen to prominence as the highest-grossing Tamil film of 2025, amassing ₹171.50 crore by Monday, as reported by Sacnilk.

Good Bad Ugly becomes highest-grossing Tamil film of 2025

Good Bad Ugly was promoted as a significant event prior to its release on April 10, and it appears to be fulfilling that expectation thus far. According to trade reports, the film has garnered ₹101.30 crore net and ₹119.35 crore gross in India within the first five days of its release. Additionally, it has earned ₹52.15 crore internationally, bringing its global total to ₹171.50 crore. This achievement positions it as the highest-grossing Tamil film of the year, surpassing Dragon's lifetime collection of ₹150.52 crore. However, Good Bad Ugly still trails behind Salman Khan's Sikandar, which amassed ₹183 crore in 15 days. In the context of the highest-grossing Indian films of 2025, Good Bad Ugly faces competition from Game Changer (₹186.25 crore), Sankranthiki Vasthunam (₹255.2 crore), L2 Empuraan (₹264 crore), and Chhaava (₹806.45 crore). It remains uncertain when Good Bad Ugly will surpass the ₹200 crore milestone.

Adhik's fan service film, Good Bad Ugly, alludes to various pop-culture figures such as John Wick and The Professor from Money Heist, as well as referencing Vijay's earlier works like Ghilli. The narrative follows a gangster named Red Dragon, also known as AK (Ajith), who seeks redemption for his past misdeeds in order to reunite with his wife Ramya (Trisha) and their son. However, circumstances deteriorate when he is compelled to embrace his darker instincts to protect his family.
