Shuchi Talati is the writer and director of the coming-of-age film *Girls Will Be Girls*, which has received several awards at film festivals and is set to premiere on Prime Video. After its premiere at Sundance, the film was screened at several festivals, including Goteborg, El Gouna, Karlovy Vary, and the Jogja-Netpac Asian Film Festival, among others. It won several awards, including Best Film at the Jakarta International Festival and the Biarritz Film Festival, as well as the Transilvania Trophy at the Transilvania International Film Festival. Additionally, it received the Grand Jury Prize at the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles. During its debut at the MAMI Mumbai Film Festival in India, the film won three awards.

Manish Menghani, the Director of Content Licensing at Prime Video India, introduced a coming-of-age film that addresses the unique struggles, discoveries, and complexities faced by young adults. This acquisition is part of the platform's strategy to diversify its content offerings. While Chadha praised the film for exploring intergenerational conflicts and the quest for independence, Fazal emphasized the significance of this project as the inaugural endeavor of their production company.
