Netflix announced the project via their official Instagram account, revealing the initial poster for the action-comedy Dhoom Dhaam, starring Yami Gautam and Pratik Gandhi. The film is slated to be available for streaming on Netflix, although the specific release date has yet to be disclosed.
The poster depicts Yami and Pratik in the roles of a bride and groom. Yami portrays Koyal Chadda, a character from Mumbai, while Pratik takes on the role of Dr. Veer, a young man from Gujarat. Their images have been featured in the matrimonial section of a newspaper as they seek life partners.
In sharing the poster, the production team included the caption, "Don’t DM us for rishtas kyunki humari shaadi “Dhoom Dhaam” se hone vaali hai."
