Nithiin has not achieved a box office success for quite some time. His recent films have unfortunately performed poorly, creating significant pressure for him to stage a successful return. Nevertheless, the skilled actor is now placing his hopes on his forthcoming projects, Thammudu and Robinhood, both of which are currently in production and approaching completion.

Nithiin's Thammdu release date details

Of the two films, Thammudu is scheduled to be released first, with the producers having set May 9, 2025, as its premiere date, making it a highly anticipated summer offering. An official confirmation of this date is expected shortly. The film is directed by Venu Sriram, recognized for his previous work on Vakeel Saab, which starred Pawan Kalyan.

Notably, Thammudu shares its title with the classic Pawan Kalyan film from 1999; however, the producers have assured that the narrative is entirely distinct, with no ties to the earlier movie.

Produced by Dil Raju and Sirish under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, Thammudu features a musical score by Ajaneesh Loknath. The filming has been largely completed, with only a few patchwork scenes remaining. Actress Varsha Bollamma stars as the female lead in this action-oriented drama, which has been produced on a modest budget.

Dil Raju, buoyed by the success of Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, is committed to ensuring that Thammudu receives a proper theatrical release, as he believes this film will signify Nithiin’s much-needed resurgence. Unlike his previous endeavors, Raju is not hurrying the release and has strategically selected May 9, 2025, to optimize its success.

In the meantime, Robinhood, Nithiin’s other project, has yet to confirm a release date but is tentatively targeting a premiere in March 2025. Sreeleela is cast as the female lead in this film. Stay tuned for further updates on these exciting upcoming releases!
