What's the plot of Boy Kills World

The Boy embodies a tempest of disorder, perpetually stirring up trouble. He has been diligently preparing to eliminate Hilda Van Der Koy, a merciless and bloodthirsty individual, in order to avenge the horrific murders of his entire family. His deceased sister, despite her absence, appears to lead him with her spirited and playful essence. As the Boy approaches Hilda, he continually uncovers startling and unforeseen revelations. Will he succeed in achieving his revenge?

Director Moritz Mohr reveals Bill Skarsgård was not the first choice

In an interview with GamesRadar+ and the Inside Total Film podcast at the beginning of 2024, prior to the theatrical release of Boy Kills World, director Moritz Mohr disclosed intriguing insights about the film. He indicated that Bill Skarsgård was not initially considered for the lead role of Boy. In fact, there were uncertainties regarding Skarsgård's interest in participating in an action drama.

"I recognized his talent from the It films and several other projects, and I thought, 'What a remarkable actor,' but I would be misleading you if I claimed I envisioned him as the next action star," Mohr explained. "I was unaware of his interest in such roles, and at one point, we were evaluating actors who could perform their own stunts to minimize the need for doubles. This approach stemmed from a practical perspective, and when someone proposed Bill, I wondered, 'Would he be willing to take it on?'"
