Gandhi Talks update: Makers of Vijay Sethupathi film drop new video on Gandhi Jayanthi

We had already reported that actor Vijay Sethupathi will be starring in an upcoming film Gandhi Talks. The silent film, also starring Aditi Rao Hydari and Arvind Swamy, was screened at the 54th International Film Festival of India. Now, on Wednesday, for the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi, the makers released a special update about the film. Read on further to know what is the update.

Gandhi Talks new update

Gandhi Talks is an upcoming Tamil film featuring Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role. On Wednesday which also marked Gandhi Jayanthi, the makers of the film released a special BTS video which showed the making of the film, the actors shooting for the portions and other aspects of post-productions. Towards the end, we see AR Rahman scoring music for the song.

Besides Vijay Sethupathi, the film also stars Arvind Swami, Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth Jadhav in important roles. Billed as a silent dark comedy flick, the project will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.

A release date for Gandhi Talks is yet to be announced by the makers. However, as per the teaser, it looks like the team will announce the date very soon.

Gandhi Talks is directed by Kishor P Belekar and is backed by Zee Studios, Kyooriyus and Moviemill jointly. AR Rahman has scored music for the movie for which Ashish Mhatre is the editor. Karan B. Rawat has cranked the camera. This is the second time Arvind Swami, Aditi Rao Hydari and Vijay Sethupathi have come together after Mani Ratnam's Chekka Chivantha Vaanam. The shooting for Gandhi Talks has been wrapped up.

Meanwhile, Vijay Sethupathi was last seen in Maharaja directed by Nithilan Saminathan. The film is available on Netflix. Arvind Swamy on the other hand, was seen in the recently released Meiyazhagan co-starring Karthi. The film is running in theatres.
