The makers of the latest Malayalam film, Gaganachari, revealed the details of its GCC as well as the UAE release today (June 26). They confirmed that the Anarkali Marikar-starrer will have a theatrical debut in these countries on June 27, along with Urvashi and Parvathy Thiruvothu’s Ullozhukku.

It is still not certain if the GCC and UAE have prior access to the movie's online ticketing system. On the other hand, it is expected that viewers in the theatres will react similarly once it is released.

The main actors in this science fiction movie are Gokul Suresh, Aju Varghese, Anarkali Marikar, and Ganesh Kumar. Arun Chandu, who previously helmed Saajan Bakery and Sayanna Varthakal, is the director of Gaganachari. He co-wrote the screenplay for the film with Siva Sai.

A dystopian Kerala, in the year 2040, serves as the setting for the film. Following an oil war, governments became tyrannical and Earth had been visited by aliens. Victor Vasudevan Valamparambil has moved into an abandoned flat with his closest friends, Alan and Vaibhav. They encounter issues and conundrums when an alien woman visits their home. The film's central question is whether or not extraterrestrials are genuinely the ones making life difficult on Earth.

Arun Chandu's Gaganachari is worth seeing on a big screen despite the fact that it might not be to everyone's taste due to its deft handling and portrayal of the subject matter. The creators have focused on finding the perfect harmony between fictional and other elements that are more appealing to the Malayali audience.

They should be commended for breaking the fourth wall and doing a convincing recreation of it on screen. What will really keep the audience interested are its humorous elements and enough references to appeal to people born in the 1980s and 1990s. The concise screenplay, which keeps the entire thing interesting, is the best thing about this film.
