Following this, the film's producers have published character posters featuring the cast, including Ananya Panday and R Madhavan. For those curious about Ananya's role in the movie, the details have now been revealed. In her new look, Ananya exudes both fierceness and poise as she portrays the character of Dilreet Gill.

On Friday, the producers unveiled a new teaser video showcasing Ananya Panday's character in the film. In the clip, she is depicted in a white saree, holding a file. The poster presents her as strong and self-assured, accompanied by a voiceover stating, “Uss din Jallianwala Bagh me jo hua uska sach puri duniya ko pata chalna chahiye (What happened that day at Jallianwala Bagh, the truth must be told to everybody).”

R. Madhavan portrays Neville Mckinley in the film. Earlier this week, Dharma Productions unveiled a teaser lasting over one minute and thirty seconds, featuring Akshay Kumar as a formidable lawyer in a courtroom overseen by a British judge. A notable moment in the teaser depicts the judge remarking, "Don't forget you're still a slave of the British Empire," to which Akshay's character retorts, “F*** you.”

Kesari Chapter 2 serves as the sequel to the original film released in 2019, which depicted the events leading up to the Battle of Saragarhi. This historic confrontation occurred in 1897 between 21 Sikh soldiers from the 36th Sikh Regiment of the British Indian Army and 10,000 Afridi and Orakzai Pashtun tribesmen. Parineeti Chopra had a significant role in the first installment.

The release date for Kesari Chapter 2 is set for April 18 in theaters.
