8 years after Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Pakistani actor Fawad Khan has commenced his return journey to Bollywood. The actor reportedly came on board for filmmaker Aarti Bagdi's untitled film with Vaani Kapoor, Ridhi Dogra, and Malaika Arora. This film will mark Fawad's comeback in the Hindi film industry. The latest development is that Khan has apparently begun filming for his Bollywood comeback movie in London.

Fawad Khan begins Bollywood comeback film's shoot?

According to Mid-Day, Fawad Khan commenced filming for the movie with his co-star Vaani Kapoor in London on September 28. As per the report, it is a start-to-finish schedule of 40 days. The report suggests that the film revolves around the lives of a London-based chef (Fawad) and a simple and traditional girl (Vaani) who visits London from India.

Fawad and Vaani's film is reportedly about two emotionally wounded individuals who cross paths by fate, help each other and 'eventually fall in love'. It is said to be a simple yet well-crafted story.

"[The cast and crew] will shoot across the city until November 10. Malaika Arora and Ridhi Dogra will join the unit in London. After that, Fawad will return to Pakistan, while the team will resume the shoot in Mumbai for a week. The principal shoot and songs are being shot in London," a source told the tabloid.

Fawad Khan's journey in Bollywood

Meanwhile, Fawad Khan made his Bollywood with Khoobsurat in 2014. The actor shared screen space with Sonam Kapoor Ahuja in the movie. His appearance followed in Kapoor & Sons with Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra. Fawad's last Hindi film release was Karan Johar's directorial venture, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. He featured in the film with Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. As far as his last project is concerned, it was Barzakh with Sanam Saeed. The actor reunited with the actress after Zindagi Gulzar Hai.
