When businessman David Nainan returns home from work, he discovers his daughter Sarah unconscious from sexual abuse. David gets very upset when Sarah eventually recovers and tells him that she had been assaulted by a serial killer named Joker. An irate David decides to find him and kill him in order to protect other girls.

After spending more than ten years in the Gulf, Nandan comes home to be with his wife Juliet and daughter Aparna. Juliet moves to a new location after obtaining a job, which enables Nandan to get to know his daughter. The main plot point of the movie is how their relationship will be affected by their generational differences and misunderstandings.
