Fateh box office collection on its opening day: Sonu Sood has made his directorial debut with the action thriller, Fateh. Sonu Sood's film Fateh began production in early 2023 and concluded by October of the same year. Co-produced by Sood and Umesh KR Bansal, the film ultimately premiered in 2025. Upon its release, it received a variety of reviews from both critics and viewers, resulting in a challenging debut at the box office.

Early estimates indicate that Fateh debuted at the box office with a collection of Rs 2.45 crore. This figure is lower than that of the Hindi version of Ram Charan's Game Changer, which garnered Rs 7 crore. It remains uncertain whether Fateh will experience an increase in its box office earnings in the coming days.

Sonu Sood on Fateh's comparison with Animal

In a discussion with India Today, Sonu Sood addressed the comparisons made between his film Fateh and Animal. Observers on social media noted similarities between the two movies, particularly due to an action scene in which Sonu engages in combat with masked adversaries.

Sonu remarked on the matter, stating that they had contemplated the potential perception of the design resembling that of an Animal. However, he emphasized that this resemblance was driven by technical requirements. The fighters were sourced from Mexico and South Africa, and it was not practical to replace them on short notice. Therefore, utilizing the same fighters emerged as the most viable option.
