Fateh's box office performance on its third day indicates a lacklustre reception in India. According to Sacnilk.com, the film garnered slightly more than ₹2 crore on Sunday, mirroring its earnings from Saturday.

The film generated ₹2.4 crore on its opening day and ₹2.1 crore on the second day. Preliminary estimates indicate that on the third day, Fateh garnered ₹2.10 crore nett. To date, the film's total earnings stand at ₹6.60 crore. On Sunday, Fateh recorded an overall Hindi occupancy rate of 19.05%.

The film has received a range of reviews. Additionally, it is contending with significant competition from a much larger action film—the Hindi-dubbed version of S Shankar's Telugu blockbuster Game Changer, featuring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani.

What Sonu said about directing Fateh

On Sunday, during an interview with the news agency ANI, Sonu Sood elaborated on his decision to direct Fateh. The actor, known primarily for his roles in action films, attended the red-carpet premiere of his directorial debut in New Delhi. Sonu remarked, “I have often pondered why Bollywood films lack the action sequences found in international cinema.”

“Why do foreign audiences not discuss our action sequences? This question has lingered in my mind, but as an actor, my influence was limited by factors such as production budgets and the script. Upon taking on the role of director, I was able to incorporate this vision into my film,” he continued.

Sonu dedicated considerable time to crafting the action sequences for the movie, recalling that one particular scene took an extensive 2.5 months to finalize.
