Fateh box office collection on day three: The film, marking Sonu Sood's directorial debut, was recently released in theatres. Featuring Sood in the lead role, Fateh faced competition from Ram Charan and Kiara Advani's Game Changer, which premiered on January 10, 2025. This box office competition significantly impacted the performance of Sood's film. Fateh recorded an opening day collection of Rs 2.4 crore. On the second day, the film garnered around Rs 2.1 crore. However, it struggled to maintain its momentum on the third day at the box office.

Early estimates from Sacnilk indicate that Fateh experienced no increase in its box office earnings on the third day following its release. The film, featuring Sonu Sood, garnered Rs 2.10 crore on that day. Consequently, the overall box office collection for Fateh now stands at Rs 6.6 crore.

Fateh struggled to build momentum, resulting in the film lagging behind Ram and Kiara's Game Changer (Hindi). The S Shankar-directed film earned Rs 7.7 crore in Hindi on its third day at the box office.

Nonetheless, Fateh is set to make its OTT debut on Disney+ Hotstar following its theatrical release. Typically, a film requires 45 to 60 days before it can premiere digitally.

Sonu Sood on his challenging sequence in Fateh

In a recent interview, Sonu Sood discussed the three-and-a-half-minute single-shot action sequence, which he identified as the most demanding scene he faced in the film Fateh.

He elaborated on the project, stating that it required two and a half months of preparation and involved a team that had previously contributed to films such as Captain Marvel, Fast & Furious, and Jurassic Park. To realize the vision, fighters from Mexico and a highly skilled technical crew were enlisted.

He further remarked, "I have frequently heard from family and friends expressing their desire for our action films to match the quality of foreign productions. After viewing Fateh, I hope I have addressed that concern—demonstrating that large-scale action films can indeed be produced here as well."
