Don 3, directed by Farhan Akhtar, has been making headlines for the wrong reasons lately. After the announcement, there were whispers about the film being delayed and not kicking off as scheduled. But the director put those rumors to rest in a recent chat with India Today.

Don 3 is right on track, as per Akhtar. He mentioned that he’s not avoiding any questions about the film when asked if he was trying to sidestep them. He also shared that filming for Don 3 is set to kick off this year, and 120 Bahadur is slated for a 2025 release.

Don 3, featuring Ranveer Singh, is under the direction of Farhan Akhtar, with Kiara Advani taking on the main female role.

Here's the latest on Jee Le Zaraa

When asked about his other project, Jee Le Zaraa, which he announced back in 2021, Akhtar mentioned that there are a lot of dates to juggle. This highly anticipated film features Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Katrina Kaif, and Alia Bhatt in the main roles. He also noted that they can discuss it more later.

In the meantime, he's set to release his new film as a producer, Superboys of Malegaon, in theaters on February 28. Produced by Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby, the film is written by Varun Grover and directed by Reema Kagti, with backing from notable producers like Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar, and Kagti herself. The cast includes Vineet Kumar Singh, Anuj Singh Duhan, Shashank Arora, and Adarsh Gourav.

On the other hand, Farhan Akhtar is preparing for the release of his Netflix series, "Dabba Cartel," which coincidentally premieres on the same day. This star-studded series boasts an impressive cast, including Shabana Azmi, Gajraj Rao, Jyotika, Nimisha Sajayan, Shalini Pandey, Anjali Anand, Sai Tamhankar, Jisshu Sengupta, Lillete Dubey, and Bhupendra Singh Jadawat. Directed by Hitesh Bhatia and produced by Excel Entertainment, "Dabba Cartel" promises to deliver a gripping narrative that blends suspense, family drama, and high-stakes action, all set against the backdrop of 1960s Mumbai
