Family Star box office collections day 3 - Dil Raju, the producer of Vijay Deverakonda's Family Star, is quite upset that a section of the fans have created a negative trend for his film. This coupled with the horrible reviews, the family drama is not attracting much audience to the theatres. Keeping all these things aside, the Parasuram film further faltered on day three as the occupancy went down even further.

Family Star 3-day collection details

As per the latest update, Family Star made only Rs 3 crore gross on day three in Telugu states, which is shockingly low. On day one, collections were Rs 5.2 crore, and on the second day, the film made Rs 3.5 crore. With this, the total collections of Family Star in its first weekend are Rs 11.7 crore gross.

Generally, the said amount is made from a day's collections if a Vijay Deverakonda film starts on a good note. For some reason, Family Star was rejected from day one as the film was released with a very low buzz. The occupancy on day one was only 51%, which is shocking as Vijay Deverakonda has a decent following.

Family Star US collections

In the US, the film is stuck at $500k. Producer Dil Raju states that his film has failed due to the negative reviews, and the culture of reviewing a film on day one should stop right away. He plans to introduce a culture in Tollywood where critics will not be allowed to review a movie during the first three days of its release.

Family Star is a routine family drama, featuring Mrunal Thakur as the female lead. Praising Mrunal Thakur’s terrific screen presence, the makers claimed that her entry into the film would help Family Star become a sure-shot success at the box office. But sadly, nothing of that sort has happened.

Vijay Deverakonda is staying away from the post-release promotions and is quite upset with the film's box office performance. Family Star had to make at least Rs 37 crore to be in the safe zone, but nothing of that sort is likely to happen in the days to come.
