Anpodu Kanmani, featuring Arjun Ashokan, has recently become available on OTT platforms, two months following its release in theaters. This Malayalam film, which follows the journey of a newly married couple, can now be streamed on Prime Video. Here is all the essential information regarding the film and its lead actor, Arjun Ashokan.

Anpodu Kanmani on Prime Video

Anpodu Kanmani, which premiered in theaters on January 26, 2025, began streaming on Prime Video on March 26. The film is exclusively available in Malayalam, accompanied by English subtitles.

Upon its theatrical release in January, Anpodu Kanmani did not make a significant impact at the box office. It remains to be seen whether this Malayalam film, promoted as a family entertainer, will attract viewers on the international streaming platform. 

Anpodu Kanmani cast and plot 

Directed by debutant Liju Thomaz, Anpodu Kanmani stars Arjun Ashokan and Anagha Narayanan in the lead roles of the newly-married couple - Nakulan and Shalini. Soon after the marriage, the young couple feel the pressure of delivering the good news.  

As the family pressure and societal expectations prove too difficult to handle, Nakulan and Shalini are forced to look at every option available. Things get to a tipping point that tests their love and faith. 

Apart from the lead pair, the film also features Maala Parvathi, Navas Vallikkunnu, Mridul Nair, and Althaf Saleem in key supporting roles. 

Arjun Ashokan’s films

Anpodu Kanmani is the second film of Arjun Ashokan to release in 2025. The first movie was Ennu Swantham Punyalan, which was released on January 10. He also had Bromance releasing on Valentine’s Day. 

The entertaining film also showcased a number of young talents, including Mathew Thomas, Sangeeth Prathap, Mahima Nambiar, and Shyam Mohan. Currently, only Anpodu Kanmani is available on OTT platforms, with no official announcements regarding the digital releases of Ennu Swantham Punyalan and Bromance.
