Extra Decent trailer is out
The 1.52-minute-long trailer of Extra Decent narrates the story of a family, including of a senior couple, their younger son, and daughter-in-law, who are fed up with the antics of their elder son, played by Suraj Venjaramoodu. The protagonist creeps out the people around him with extremely unusual behaviour, including his parents, as the ‘Psycho’ song plays in the background. The family is seen trying to find a solution to their problems, while the protagonist is seen as detached from reality.
The promising trailer of Extra Decent suggest that Suraj Venjaramoodu is all set to shed his signature onscreen image for the upcoming dark comedy film. The actor’s makeover as the eldest son of a middle class Malayali family, who struggles with his inner demons and tries to take control of others’ life, is highly intriguing.
Extra Decent is penned by Ashif Kakkodi. Along with Suraj Venjaramoodu, the highly anticipated project features a massive star cast including Grace Antony, Vinaya Prasad, Rafi, Sudheer Karamana, Premalu-fame Shyam Mohan, Prashant Alexander, Shaju Sridhar, Sajin Cherukail, Vineeth Thattil, and Dilna play the other pivotal roles in the film. Ankit Menon is composing the songs and the original score for the project.
Sharon Sreenivas is the director of photography. The dark comedy film is jointly produced by Listin Stephen and leading man Suraj Venjaramoodu, under the home banners Magic Frames and Vilasini Cinemas. If things go as planned, Extra Decent will hit the theatres by the third week of December 2024, ahead of Christmas celebrations.
