Suraj Venjaramoodu is preparing for the premiere of his film ED - Extra Decent, scheduled for December 20, 2024. The acclaimed actor has taken on the role of producer for this project, which is directed by Aamir Pallikkal. In anticipation of the film's release, the production team has revealed a pre-release teaser.

The teaser opens with Suraj Venjaramoodu's character informing his mother, portrayed by Vinaya Prasad, that his father indiscreetly shares all family matters with the security guard. In response, the mother chastises the father for disclosing such private information to outsiders.

In his characteristic humorous manner, Suraj enumerates the various individuals who would become aware of this situation, ranging from the security personnel to the president of the association.

The teaser transitions to a diner where a group of individuals, including Suraj and Grace Antony, are gathered around a table, with Suraj's character exhibiting unusual behaviour. The pre-release teaser does not provide any additional insights into the plot beyond what has already been disclosed in the previously released trailer.

The narrative of the comedy-drama film, penned by Ashif Kakkodi, centres on a Malayali family and their son, whose peculiar actions unsettle those around him. Suraj, known for his popular comedic roles, portrays the son. Overall, the creators promise a distinctive and entertaining experience for audiences this holiday season.

The film features Grace Antony and Shyam Mohan, recognized for his role in Premalu, alongside Vinaya Prasad, Sudheer Karamana, and others.

In a recent interview, Suraj Venjaramoodu, who co-produced the film alongside Listin Stephen, elaborated on his motivation for selecting this particular project for his production efforts. The actor expressed his appreciation for both the storyline and the characters involved.

"I have not previously engaged in a film of this nature. The narrative is unique, offering ample performance opportunities. The story unfolds through humorous scenarios. I found it appealing, which led me to collaborate with Listin in supporting the film," Suraj remarked.

The film is a joint production by Listin Stephen and Suraj Venjaramoodu, under the banners of Magic Frames and Vilasini Cinemas, respectively.
