In the latest development regarding SS Rajamouli's upcoming project, a source affiliated with the production has disclosed that nearly two weeks of shooting are planned at the Borra Caves. The film, described as an adventure thriller, will be set across multiple countries. K. L. Narayana is set to produce the film with a considerable budget, and Hollywood studios will be involved for visual effects.

Currently, Mahesh Babu is overseas, preparing for his role. He is expected to debut a striking new appearance, marking this as his most expensive film to date. The project has also attracted attention with reports suggesting that Priyanka Chopra Jonas may be cast as the female lead. If confirmed, this decision is viewed as a strategic move to enhance the film's international appeal through Priyanka’s global recognition.

A member of the team has indicated that "SSMB29" will be Rajamouli’s final film featuring Indian stars, as he intends to shift his focus to Hollywood projects following its release. Filming is anticipated to commence in the summer of 2025, with a release date projected for 2027.

Rajamouli’s family will play significant roles in the production. His father, Vijayendra Prasad, has penned the story, while his brother, M. M. Keeravani, will be responsible for the musical score.
