Pooja Hegde to feature in a special dance number in Rajinikanth’s Coolie

It appears that Pooja Hegde’s schedule is becoming more demanding with each passing day. According to reports, she is set to make a special cameo appearance in a dance sequence for the forthcoming Tamil film Coolie, which stars Rajinikanth in the lead role. Although the production team has not officially confirmed Pooja’s participation, it is likely that audiences will see her on the big screen prior to the release of Jana Nayagan. Furthermore, she is also involved in Suriya’s Retro, which is slated for release on May 1.

Coolie is an action thriller helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, featuring Rajinikanth in the principal role. The cast also includes Nagarjuna, Upendra, Soubin Shahir, Sathyaraj, and Shruti Haasan. Filming began in July 2024, with a theatrical release planned for 2025. The film's soundtrack is crafted by Anirudh Ravichander and produced by Sun Pictures.

Pooja Hegde pairs up with Vijay for Jana Nayagan once again

Pooja Hegde reunites with Vijay for Jana Nayagan for the second time following their collaboration in Beast. Directed by H Vinoth, the film also features Bobby Deol, Priyamani, Mamitha Baiju, Prakash Raj, Gautham Menon, among others.

Jana Nayagan is anticipated to premiere after Coolie, likely in the latter half of 2025, although it may be postponed to 2026. Anirudh Ravichander is responsible for the musical score, with KVN Productions supporting the project. The first look of the film was recently unveiled by the producers, suggesting that Vijay will portray a leader of the people.
