Recently, it was revealed that the megastar is teaming up with Nithish Sahadev, the director behind Falimy. Here’s the latest scoop on this thrilling collaboration between Mammootty and Nithish Sahadev! 

Mammootty and Nithish Sahadev are teaming up for a new movie

Nithish Sahadev, who made his directorial debut with the film Falimy featuring Basil Joseph, has just revealed his next project starring Mammootty. He took to Instagram to post some pictures with Mammootty and mentioned that Anuraj OB will be handling the writing, while Agnivesh Ranjith will take care of the project design. He also included the hashtags #soonrolling and #MammoottyKampany, which is the name of Mammootty’s production company. 

There have been whispers about the project floating around on social media for some time. Now, Nithish has officially confirmed it. However, there are no details yet about the cast or crew. It's also said that filming will kick off after Mammootty wraps up his movie with Mahesh Narayanan, but that hasn't been confirmed either. 

Mammootty's new movies on the horizon

The megastar is gearing up for the release of Bazooka, which is set to hit theaters on Valentine’s Day. This film features Mammootty alongside Gautham Vasudev Menon.

Additionally, the Bramayugam actor is working on a project with debut director Jithin K Jose. In this film, Mammootty is expected to portray a character with some complex, grey shades, and Vinayakan will also take on a leading role. 

The film that everyone is buzzing about is the one directed by Mahesh Narayanan, currently going by the working title MMMN. Alongside Mammootty, the cast includes big names like Mohanlal, Fahadh Faasil, Kunchacko Boban, and more.

On another note, Mammootty's latest appearance was in Dominic and the Ladies' Purse, directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, which received a mix of reviews.

Family on streaming platforms

Nithish Sahadev's movie Falimy features Basil Joseph, Jagadish, and Manju Pillai. It tells the story of a dysfunctional family and their trip to Varanasi, and it received a warm reception. You can catch the film streaming on Disney+ Hotstar in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada.
