Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam, the forthcoming Tamil film penned and directed by Dhanush, has officially confirmed its release date. The film is scheduled to premiere in theaters on February 7, 2025, as announced by the producers on social media this Wednesday.

Actor Dhanush is set to direct his third film, titled Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam. This project will showcase a youthful ensemble cast, featuring actors such as Pavish, Anikha Surendran, Priya Prakash Varrier, Mathew Thomas, Venkatesh Menon, Rabiya Khatoon, and Ramya Ranganathan. On Wednesday, the production team revealed the film's release date, confirming that Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam is scheduled to premiere on February 7, 2025. The film will be distributed in Tamil Nadu by Red Giant Movies.

The film is both written and directed by Dhanush, with music composed by GV Prakash Kumar. The technical team features Leon Britto as the cinematographer and Prasanna GK as the editor, while Jacki serves as the art director. Produced by Kasthoori Raj and Vijayalakshmi Kasthoori Raja under the banner of Wunderbar Films, Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam has already seen the release of two songs, titled Golden Sparrow and Kadhal Fail. Although the storyline remains undisclosed, the promotional materials released thus far suggest that Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam is likely to resonate with a younger audience.

What is Dhanush working on?

Dhanush, who recently appeared in Raayan, is presently engaged in several projects. His upcoming directorial venture, titled Idly Kadai, features both Nithya Menen and himself in leading roles. The film is scheduled for release on April 10, 2025.

In addition, he is involved in Kubera, directed by Sekhar Kammula, as well as the Hindi film Tere Ishq Mein. Furthermore, he is working on a biopic of Ilaiyaraaja in collaboration with Arun Matheswaran. All three films are currently in production, and their release dates have yet to be finalized.
