Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas stars in the occult thriller #BSS12, directed by debutant Ludheer Byreddy and produced by Mahesh Chandu under the Moonshine Pictures banner. The film has generated significant interest through its promotional posters. Set against the backdrop of a centuries-old Dasavatara temple, this high-budget production features Samyuktha in a co-starring role. The filmmakers celebrated Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas’ birthday by releasing a special poster and unveiling the film’s title through an impressive teaser.
The teaser begins with a chilling scene in a dense forest, where a group of criminals attempts to set the sacred Dasavatara temple ablaze. Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas makes a dramatic entrance, riding a motorcycle alongside a lion and a wild boar, while an eagle (Garuda) soars above. The imagery is rich with symbolism: fish in the temple pond leap in agitation, and a tortoise observes closely. A tattoo on the hero’s arm reflects the snake deity (Adishesha Avatar) depicted in the temple, foreshadowing the intense action that ensues.
As the protagonist intervenes to protect the temple, he confronts the villains in a stunning display of strength. In a particularly striking moment, he ignites a bullock cart, tying the villains to it with a thread, while the flames take the shape of the sacred Vishnu Namalu. This motif is echoed in the expressions of the lion and wild boar, with the sky revealing various forms of Vishnu. Ultimately, the title Haindava is unveiled, encapsulating the essence of Hinduism and serving as an ideal Pan-India title for a film designed to resonate with audiences nationwide.
Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas commands attention with his robust presence and thick moustache, perfectly embodying his rugged character. His on-screen charisma is undeniably impactful.
The visuals are stunning, enhanced by Shivendra’s remarkable camerawork that heightens the emotional impact of each scene. The spiritual ambience is enriched by the compelling score composed by Leon James, featuring chants of Rama and Krishna that intertwine with the music, evoking a trance-like experience.
Ludheer Byreddy’s directorial debut is impressive, showcasing a distinct vision in the representation of Vishnu avatars and the Namalu symbols. The outstanding CGI and exceptional production quality from Moonshine Pictures further elevate the overall experience. The skills of editor Karthika Srinivas R and art directorhai are also apparent in every shot.
Currently, 35% of the filming has been completed, and the preview that has generated excitement has left film enthusiasts eagerly awaiting the next developments of this high-budget Pan-India project. The title Glimpse of Haindava has already ignited considerable intrigue.
