The teaser for Emraan Hashmi's forthcoming film, Ground Zero, was unveiled on Friday, providing a sneak peek into the storyline. Drawing inspiration from actual events, the film is set in Kashmir, where Emraan's character embarks on a mission to bring peace to the region while navigating a complex landscape of conflicts.

In Ground Zero, Emraan Hashmi takes on the role of a soldier. The teaser begins with a cautionary message from an individual linked to the terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed regarding the "freedom of Kashmir" in 2001. The scene transitions to an assault on Indian soldiers, revealing that "70 soldiers were gunned down."

As the teaser progresses, Emraan makes a striking appearance as BSF Deputy Commandant Narendra Nath Dubey, a real-life figure. He is depicted leading an operation to locate and eliminate the enemy, setting the tone for an action-driven narrative. Additionally, he is shown motivating his fellow soldiers with the rallying cry, “Ab Prahaar Hoga (Now, there will be a counter-attack).”

The teaser concludes with Emraan's character posing the question, "Is it merely the land of Kashmir that is ours, or do its inhabitants also belong to us?"

Additional details about the film reveal that Narendra Nath Dubey led the operation that resulted in the elimination of the terrorist leader Ghazi Baba, for which he received the Kirti Chakra in 2005. The teaser is also featured alongside Salman Khan’s Sikandar. The cast includes Sai Tamhankar, Mukesh Tiwari, and Zoya Hussain in significant roles, with the film scheduled for theatrical release on April 25.

Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the banner of Excel Entertainment, the film is directed by Tejas Deoskar. Co-producers include Kassim Jagmagia, Vishal Ramchandani, Sundeep C Sidhwani, Arhan Bagati, Talisman Films, Abhishek Kumar, and Nishikant Roy.
