The trailer for Empuraan has been released! Prithviraj Sukumaran has presented the trailer of Empuraan several hours ahead of schedule, and there are no complaints from fans! This nearly 3-minute and 50-second video showcases the tumultuous events that are expected to take place in Empuraan, the sequel to the Lucifer franchise.

Prithviraj Sukumaran launched the trailer of Empuraan at midnight on March 20, 2025. In his caption, the director and actor, renowned for his eloquence, stated: “Remember..it’s YOU who summoned the DEVIL at this hour!”

The trailer for Empuraan revisits characters initially introduced in Lucifer, featuring a voiceover by PK Ramdas, who asserts that his children are not his successors; rather, those who follow him are his true children. The scene transitions to Tovino Thomas portraying Jathin Ramdas, who states that those who attempted to undermine PK Ramdas were not the direct adversaries he faced. The trailer also introduces new cast members, including Suraj Venjaramoodu as a politician and Nikhat Khan, sister of Aamir Khan, as Subhadra Ben. Manju Warrier, in her role as Priya Ramdas, reflects on the significance of human life as the trailer shifts into an action-packed sequence.

We learn that drug cartels and Jihadi groups are typically opposed to K-A (Khureshi Ab'raam), leading to a grand entrance by Mohanlal. Jathin Ramdas articulates the audience's curiosity regarding the enigmatic Stephen Nedumpally. Additional characters, such as Jerome Flynn, leave a notable impression in the trailer, and it is not until after the midpoint that Prithviraj Sukumaran makes his appearance as Zayed Masood.
