Dune Prophecy, an upcoming English science fiction series, is releasing next month on HBO Max. The series is set to make its India debut on JioCinema on the next day, after its US release. The interesting part about Dune Prophecy is that actress Tabu is going to make her big Hollywood debut with the series. After making its US release on November 17, the science fiction series—Dune Prophecy is releasing in India on November 18, 2024, on JioCinema. You will also be able to watch the series through OTTplay Premium from the same date onwards. Dune Prophecy comprises six episodes and is considered the prequel of the 2021 movie—Dune, starring Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya.

Tabu’s experience working in Dune Prophecy and Hollywood

On Tuesday, October 22, the makers dropped the first look for Tabu as Sister Francesca from Dune Prophecy. In an exclusive interview with an India portal, the excited actress shared that it was an extraordinary experience for her in playing that character. She feels it's an honour for an actor to be trusted by the creators with a character that is a mind-blowing combination of intelligence, intriguing, and emotionally powerful.

Tabu further shared that she feels quite excited to bring Sister Francesca’s story to the India audiences through JioCinema. She is quite thrilled to see the Indian audience’s reaction to her Hollywood debut.
