We had earlier reported that actor Dulquer Salmaan will be once again joining hands with the Mahanati makers for a Telugu film. The team on Sunday, on the occasion of the actor's birthday, announced the title of the film. The film is called Aakasam Lo Oka Tara. The title poster of the film was unveiled on Sunday.

Dulquer Salmaan, who predominantly works in Tamil and Malayalam films, gained a fan following in Telugu after delivering hits like Mahanati and Sita Ramam. Continuing his stint, the actor has once again announced a new film in Telugu. The film is called Aakasam Lo Oka Tara.

It is directed by filmmaker Pavan Sadineni, who has made hit series like Paravu and Daya. Aakasam Lo Oka Tara will be the actor’s first collaboration with the director. The film is produced by Swapna Cinema and Geetha Arts.

The first-look poster shows Dulquer Salmaan's semi-lighted silhouette, against the backdrop of clouds. Below his silhouette, one can see a girl child walking through a paddy field. The film appears to be a rural drama, with feel-good and emotional elements in the story.

Aakasam Lo Oka Tara is produced by Sandeep Gunnam and Ramya Gunnam. The film will be released in Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi. A release date is yet to be announced. The makers of Aakasam Lo Oka Tara have not revealed the cast and technical crew of the project.

Meanwhile, Dulquer Salmaan was recently seen making a cameo appearance as Captain in the Telugu film Kalki 2898 AD. The actor has the Telugu film Lucky Baskhar which is scheduled to release on September 7. The film is directed by Venky Atluri.

Dulquer Salmaan was also scheduled to appear in Tamil film Thug Life, starring Kamal Haasan. However, due to reasons unknown, he had to exit the project.
