Dulquer Salmaan is experiencing a significant career high following the tremendous success of his latest film, Lucky Baskhar. After a brief hiatus, the actor and producer is poised to return to the Malayalam film industry with two consecutive projects. In a recent interaction with the media, Dulquer announced his collaboration with director Nahas Hidayath, known for RDX, for a film scheduled for release in 2025. Notably, the esteemed Telugu production company Vyjayanthi Movies is set to venture into Malayalam cinema with this project.

According to recent reports, Dulquer Salmaan's 40th film, anticipated to be directed by Nahas Hidayath, is a high-budget fantasy action film. This untitled project will be produced by Dulquer's own production company in partnership with the renowned Telugu banner, Vyjayanthi Movies. This legendary production house, which has previously collaborated with Dulquer on acclaimed films such as Mahanati, Sita Ramam, and the recent hit Kalki 2898 AD, will mark its debut in Malayalam cinema with this venture.

Dulquer Salmaan, Nahas Hidayath’s upcoming project

The latest updates indicate that the forthcoming film, described as an action drama set against a fantasy backdrop, will feature Dulquer Salmaan in the lead role. Notably, SJ Suryah, a well-known actor and filmmaker, is set to make his Malayalam debut in this film, portraying the primary antagonist. Additionally, young actor Antony Varghese Pepe will play a significant role in the untitled project.

As previously reported, Dulquer Salmaan is currently engaged in the filming of Kaantha, directed by Selvamani Selvaraj. This Tamil-Telugu bilingual is expected to be a period musical drama set in the 1950s, with Dulquer portraying the legendary real-life superstar, Thyagaraja Bhagavathar. Following this, he will also be involved in several exciting projects, including a film directed by Soubin Shahir and the second season of Guns And Gulaabs, among others.
