We had earlier reported that actor Dulquer Salmaan's upcoming film Lucky Baskhar is scheduled to hit theatres on September 7. The film was previously planned to arrive on September 27, and had advanced its release schedule. However, what looks like now is that Lucky Baskhar may not come on September 7.

Lucky Baskhar release delayed?

Lucky Baskhar is an upcoming Telugu film headlined by actor Dulquer Salmaan. The film was earlier scheduled to release on September 27. However, avoiding a clash with Jr NTR's Devara Part 1, the makers of Lucky Baskhar advanced the release to September 7.

However, with just a few weeks left for the release, and the makers of the film keeping silent, it looks like the Dulquer Salmaan-starrer’s release will get pushed once again. It is also to be noted that September 5 will also see the release of the big-ticket film The GOAT, starring Vijay. An official confirmation from the makers of Lucky Baskhar is awaited.

Lucky Baskhar is helmed by filmmaker Venky Atluri who previously made Vaathi/Sir starring actor Dhanush. The project is bankrolled by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya, under the banners Sithara Entertainments, Srikara Studios, and Fortune Four Studios. While the project is mounted by a Telugu production, Lucky Baskhar will have a multi-lingual release in languages including Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi.

The upcoming film is expected to be a period thriller with Dulquer seen in the titular role. The actor will be portraying a banker, who gets a mysterious way to become rich. Meenakshi Chaudhary, Ayesha Khan, Hyper Aadi and P. Sai Kumar are part of the cast.

Earlier, the makers had released a poster of the actor dressed in retro style. As per reports, Dulquer will feature as a bank cashier in the film. The technical team includes GV Prakash scoring the music with Nimish Ravi cranking the camera.
