Dulquer Salmaan, Tovino Thomas to team up again, but this time in a Naslen-starrer?

Malayalam superstars Dulquer Salmaan and Tovino Thomas are reportedly set to star in an upcoming movie, which will be produced by the Lucky Baskhar actor’s Wayfarer Films. As per recent reports, the film, which is being helmed by Dominic Arun, will have the duo in cameo roles.

The yet-to-be-titled movie, which has already gone on floors, has Premalu star Naslen K Gafoor and Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead roles. Principal photography began in September and is currently progressing in Kochi.

Apart from Naslen and Kalyani, the movie also has Arun Kurian, Chandu Salimkumar, and Shanthy Balachandran in pivotal roles, with Nimish Ravi, who had cranked the camera for Dulquer’s Kurup, King of Kotha and his upcoming release Lucky Baskhar.

Incidentally, the movie will also mark Kalyani’s second film with Wayfarer Films after Varane Avashyamundu, which had Dulquer in the lead. Naslen also has a host of interesting films lined up for release including Gireesh AD’s I Am Kathalan, which is set to hit theatres in November, and Khalid Rahman’s action-comedy Alappuzha Gymkhana. Apart from Dominic’s movie, he will also be seen in Abhinav Sunder Nayak’s Mollywood Times.

Dulquer Salmaan signs 3 Malayalam movies

Meanwhile, Dulquer recently confirmed that he has signed three Malayalam movies. While he had informed that the first two will be helmed by RDX: Robert Dony Xavier filmmaker Nahas Hidayath and Soubin Shahir, he had mentioned that the third will be by a young filmmaker. It’s not clear whether he was referring to Dominic’s movie or an entirely new film. Dominic had previously directed Tharangam, which had Tovino in the lead along with Santhy and Neha Nair as its actresses.

Tovino had recently resumed the shoot of Narivetta in Wayanad, after a long break due to the promotions of Ajayante Randam Moshanam and his vacation. The Minnal Murali actor’s next release will be Identity, which has Trisha and Vinay Rai as part of its cast.
