Amrita Chattopadhyay and Badsha Maitra’s web film Dugga Dugga was dropped on Platform 8 recently. Directed by Jiit Chakraborty, Dugga Dugga features a talented cast including Amrita Chattopadhyay, Fahim Mirza, Badsha Maitra, Moyna Mukherjee, and others. The film’s music is composed by Amit Chatterjee with vocals by Ikkshita Mukherjee. The movie highlights the journey of a young lady named Anamika, who has been estranged from her father due to a tragic accident. She returns to Kolkata when her father falls ill. Her journey for closure becomes complex as she confronts her possessive partner, Srijan, and forms a new connection with Rudra, a compassionate psychiatrist. With an unexpected pregnancy and the judgments of society, Anamika is forced to make difficult choices, grappling with the delicate balance between personal freedom, family, and tradition.
