Ajay Devgn's fans are eagerly looking forward to a series of upcoming films in his busy lineup. The actor stands as one of the most active figures in Indian cinema, with two releases set to debut before July and three additional films currently in production. Amidst this bustling schedule, anticipation is growing for the Drishyam franchise, particularly regarding updates on Drishyam 3. Although Devgn has yet to finalize three ongoing projects, recent reports indicate that he has completed the script for Drishyam 3 and plans to commence filming once he has fulfilled his current obligations.

Drishyam 3 Is On Track

As reported by Pinkvilla, Ajay Devgn has officially approved Drishyam 3 and has made it a priority following the completion of De De Pyaar De 2, Dhamaal 4, and Ranger. The report mentions that he is set to start filming the third installment with director Abhishek Pathak between July and August 2025.

A source close to the project disclosed, “Ajay was initially scheduled for another film during the July-August period, but he has now shifted his focus to Drishyam 3. A few weeks ago, Abhishek Pathak and the writers presented the script to Ajay, and he was thoroughly impressed by the narrative's twists and turns. He is enthusiastic and prepared to reprise his role as Vijay Salgaonkar.”

The source further confirmed that prior to embarking on Drishyam 3, Devgn will complete the filming of De De Pyaar De 2, Dhamaal 4, and Ranger. He is expected to begin shooting Dhamaal 4 in March, followed by Ranger in May 2025. “Ajay’s schedule is fully booked until the end of 2025 with DDPD 2, Dhamaal 4, Ranger, and Drishyam 3. He is optimistic about all these projects and is striving to present a diverse range of genres—even within franchise films—to the audience,” the source added.

Other Upcoming Projects

In addition to Drishyam 3, Ajay Devgn is also set to work on Golmaal 5, which is anticipated to commence production following Drishyam 3. The fifth chapter of this successful comedy series is presently in the initial stages of development, with director Rohit Shetty recently affirming that progress is being made. Furthermore, Ajay Devgn is scheduled to appear in Raid 2, slated for release on May 1, 2025, as well as Son of Sardaar 2, which is expected to premiere in July 2025.
