On day 19 of its box office run, Dragon demonstrates remarkable momentum, with Pradeep Ranganathan's film showing no signs of slowing down. Following the success of Love Today, Ranganathan has returned with another hit, Dragon. Although it has yet to complete a month in theaters, the film is on track to achieve 100 crores in revenue. To date, Dragon has amassed Rs 93 crores in India, and it is anticipated that it will soon join the esteemed 100 crore club domestically.

The film is penned and directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, known for his previous work on Oh My Kaduvule, which is available on ZEE5 and the OTTplay Premium app. In this second collaboration with Ranganathan, the filmmaker has partnered with his longtime friend. The production is supported by AGS Entertainment.

The narrative centers on a college student burdened with 48 arrears and facing unemployment. Following a breakup with his girlfriend, the protagonist resorts to dishonest tactics to secure a prestigious job with a lucrative salary. However, he eventually faces the ultimatum of resolving his academic backlogs. The cast includes Anupama Parameswaran, Kayadu Lohar, Myskin, Gautham Menon, VJ Siddhu, Harshath Khan, among others. Netflix has acquired the post-theatrical distribution rights for the film.

Pradeep is set to collaborate with filmmaker Vignesh Shivan on a project titled Love Insurance Kompany. The film features a cast that includes Krithi Shetty, SJ Suryah, Gouri Kishan, among others. It is anticipated to be released in 2025, with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Vignesh Shivan, recognized for his innovative concepts, is establishing the setting of LIK in a futuristic environment. While awaiting the film's release, viewers should not overlook the filmmaker's Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, a romantic action drama currently available on OTTplay Premium at a discounted rate.
