Pradeep Ranganathan gained recognition for his second directorial venture, Love Today, in which he also played the lead role opposite Ivana. This romantic comedy was recently adapted into Hindi as Loveyapa, featuring Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan in the 2025 version; however, it did not achieve the same level of success as the original Tamil film.

The Tamil family drama Kudumbasthan, featuring Manikandan, made its debut on ZEE5 and OTTplay Premium on March 7. The story, set in Coimbatore, follows a man who is the primary provider for his family and faces the challenge of losing his job. Additionally, this month, the action thriller Vidaamuyarchi, starring Ajith Kumar and Trisha Krishnan, has been released for streaming on Netflix.
