Dragon is set to hit OTT platforms soon! Directed by Ashwath Marimuthu and featuring actor-director Pradeep Ranganathan, this coming-of-age comedy is making its way to Netflix India. The streaming giant shared the news on social media this Tuesday, so here’s the scoop on when and where you can catch it!

Dragon will be available for streaming on Netflix soon

Netflix India recently posted a poster featuring Pradeep from the movie on their X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram, saying, “Some dragons don’t breathe fire; their comebacks are even hotter. Catch Dragon on Netflix, available on March 21 in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. #DragonOnNetflix.”

In the poster, Pradeep appears anxious as he sits atop a pile of books, holding a textbook. The film will be available in all South Indian languages as well as Hindi.

Fans are super excited that they'll soon get to enjoy the comedy from the comfort of their homes. One fan shared, “Great entertainer! The lead really reminded me of Dhanush and seemed to channel his vibe. I had a blast watching it. Perfect combo with popcorn and coke. Absolutely loved it!” Another chimed in, “Dragon is about to break Netflix's previous records!”

However, some folks were a bit taken aback by the film's quick release on OTT, especially since it’s been doing so well in theaters since it hit screens on February 21. One person commented, “Wait… it’s coming out so soon? It’s still doing great in theaters!”

Dragon features Kayadu Lohar and Anupama Parameswaran in the main roles, alongside Mysskin, Gautham Vasudev Menon, KS Ravikumar, and George Maryan in significant parts. As reported by Sacnilk, the movie has earned ₹90.30 crore net in India and ₹146.50 crore globally within 24 days, marking Pradeep’s second film to cross the ₹100 crore milestone after Love Today.

The plot revolves around D Raghavan, also known as Dragon, an unambitious guy who decides to chase success after facing heartbreak. Just when he seems to be on the verge of achieving his dreams, his past starts to haunt him in unexpected ways.
