In a recent interview with Mantanweb, Akio Iyoku, the producer of the Dragon Ball franchise, affirmed that the series will persist. He conveyed his aspiration to sustain Dragon Ball "for decades to come." However, it is important to note that the Dragon Ball manga has been on hiatus for a year, with a new short chapter published in February. Consequently, the revival of the Dragon Ball franchise will require additional time.

Is a film on Dragon Ball the next big thing from the franchise?
