Double Ismart box office collection day one: Double Ismart was one of the most-awaited films in Telugu cinema. It was the sequel to the superhit film Ismart Shankar. The action drama was released on August 15, 2024, and started with mixed reviews at the box office. 

Well, the day-one collections are out, and Double Ismart has made the highest money out of all the films that hit the screens during the Independence Day weekend. We have now learned that Double Ismart has made Rs 6.1 crore gross nationwide.

The Ram Pothineni-starrer grossed Rs 5.3 crore gross, which is a decent number. The biggest advantage of the film is that it was released on a long weekend. As there are holidays until next Monday, the fans will surely be going to the theaters. However, as the film has mixed reviews, we must see how much it will make in its entire run.

However, the pre-release business has been locked for a whopping amount, and the Puri film must make at least Rs 35 crore to be in the safe zone. When it comes to overseas collections, Double Ismart has taken a very dull start, and it is unlikely that with such a word of mouth, it will sustain more than its first weekend.

Kavya Thapar plays the female lead in this film, which also marks Sanjay Dutt's debut in Telugu cinema. Mani Sharma composed some hit music for this film, which also has Ali in a very crazy role. His character is being trolled for going overboard.

Charmee produced the movie on a budget of just over Rs 60 crore. Netflix has grabbed the OTT rights to the film for a fancy price, which is also why it was released on August 15, 2024. Watch this space for more updates.
